Summary:

This is a series of booklets/workbooks—each just a few pages long. They are easy to read and understand and assume no knowledge of God or the Bible.  As the student completes the reading of one workbook, he or she then mails in a “Certificate Response Form” in order to receive the next booklet in the series.  This ensures accountability that the student is actually working through the books.  The topics of the 9 booklets are: What’s Missing?  What Happened to You?  Who is this God?  What is the Bible?  Putting Jesus First, What is Faith?  Giving Away Your Faith, and Tough Questions I and II.  They are written for someone who has just become a Christian or is searching for truth in the Christian faith. 

Why does FASTEN recommend this resource?

These are relevant to any teen, but may be especially appropriate for an at-risk youth who is not involved in any extensive Bible study.  The booklets are written on a third-grade reading level.  Books 1-4 are available in Spanish.
