There are not yet many books on professional wrestling. However, as evident by Mick Foley’s book, Have a Nice Day: A Tale of Blood and Sweatsocks, and the release of The Rock Says, by The Rock, there will likely be more books in the near future.

PERIODICALS
WWF Magazine
RAW (a WWF publication) A more adult-oriented companion to WWF Magazine.
WCW Magazine
ECW MagazinePro Wrestling Illustrated
Covers all the major wrestling federations. Once considered the "Bible" of wrestling but the internet provides more immediate information. Still, good articles and writing on wrestlers.
The Wrestler
Another once-popular magazine that is harder to find, due to the growing popularity of wrestling websites and newsgroups. Nonetheless, like Pro Wrestling Illustrated, good coverage of the latest (beit monthly) news and ongoings of wrestling.
INTERNET WEBSITES
Please note that there are a growing number of websites devoted to various aspects of wrestling. When using most search engines, "wrestling" will result in more than a thousand hits. However, those below have been covering and commentating on wrestling on the Internet for several years.
www.ddtdigest.com
Great website that exclusively covers WCW (World Championship Wrestling). Results for all the shows (WCW Nitro, WCW Thunder, etc.) are posted.
www.rantsylvania.com
An excellent resource website (similar to The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Pro Wrestling) that provides a thorough, objective history of the wrestling federations, individual wrestler profiles, and history, as well as other fascinating tidbits like behind-the-scenes feuds between wrestlers and the controversial ending of the Survivor Series of 1997 involving Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, Shawn Michaels, and their promoter, Vince McMahon.
