Video Editing

From MissionTechWiki

The main format for amateur and some professional recording these days is Digital Video.

Many cameras are available varying from those for home use, to those of broadcast quality.

As for editing, a range of software is available, ranging from the free to the professional. Windows Movie Maker 2 comes with Windows XP, but has limited features.

The most common method of connecting DV cameras to computers for editing is the Firewire interface. Many modern laptops and some desktops have Firewire sockets.
