BOOKS

Borgman, Dean. (2003) "Children and Trauma," in Hear My Story: Understanding the Cries of Troubled Youth, Hendrickson Publishers, pp 141-163.

Hunter, Linda B. (1998) Images of Resiliency. Palm Beach, FL: Behavioral Communications Institute. Called Sandplay Therapy, this 'impressive and deeply touching' book will show you how severely troubled children can be reached through sandplay and stories.

Wead, Douglas. (1977) The Compassionate Touch. Minneapolis, MN: Bethany Fellowship. The amazing ministry of Mark and Hulda Buntain brought God's grace to poor children of the streets trapped in prostitution, begging, and drugs. The book is honest enough to admit 'failures' as well as 'successes.'
