Resume Writing and Updating: Examples to Imitate, Common Mistakes to Avoid

Resume Writing Presentation

In this presentation, Camille Britton explains the purpose of a resumé and shows the difference between a good resumé and a bad one, using concrete examples. She presents the do's and don'ts of resumé writing and updating in three main categories: format and presentation, stressing accomplishments rather than duties, and items not to include in a resumé. Her advice, originally given as a TechMission Corps professional development session, would be beneficial to all job-seekers, whether they are just entering the job market or are looking for a higher-level job than they currently hold.
