RDP

Remote Desktop Protocol. This is a Microsoft protocol used to connect to Terminal Sevices.

There are many different clients available. Here is a subset of them:

1. Microsoft RDP Client. This is inculded on all XP and 2003 workstations and servers and is available as an add on to Windows 2000.

2. rdesktop and other Linux clients. This can be added by using rpm.

3. Recently we created a CDROM using rdesktop from 2X and PXE to boot directly to a thin client session. For more information go to this WIKI note. (Will be created when I figure out how to paste neatly into WIKI)
