This program provides small group study sessions and leadership training for learning biblical financial principles that will last a lifetime. Books and curriculum are set up for those 7 years of age and under, those 8 to 12, Teens, College Students, and for adults. Teens are asked to memorize a key scripture verse and do an assignment in preparation for each group meeting (S.S. class or youth group). A practical financial exercise at the end of each chapter is designed to help students create habits that will set them on a life-long journey of handling money responsibly. One teenager said: "I was not excited when I found out that I was going to take a class on money. But I really enjoyed the study. It was interesting and I think it has helped prepare me for my future."

Edelwich, J. (1980). Burn-out: Stages of disillusionment in the helping professions. New York City: Human Sciences Press. The author describes the burnout syndrome in terms of four stages of disillusionment: enthusiasm, stagnation, frustration, and apathy. Interviews aid the analysis of each step as the book explores the causes and offers interventions-individually and organizationally-that can help one cope with each stage.
Faulkner, B.R. (1981). Burnout in ministry: How to recognize it; how to avoid it. Broadman Press. As a burnout himself, Faulkner confronts the problem with sensitivity and toughness. His first chapter is "Burnout-the Closet Sin of Ministers." Subsequent chapters look into the home life, professional life, and physical life of the minister. Several good chapters deal with the emotional aspects of burnout. The last two chapters are practical: "Burnout and the Priorities Dilemma" and "Refueling to Avoid Burnout."
