Brief Description:  Neighbors In Christ seeks to restore safety, peace, and power to the lives of victims of crime.  NIC receives police reports of property crimes and some violent crimes and offers their services to the victims of these crimes in their area.  For those victims that want support from NIC, the staff and volunteers assist in whatever ways they can.  They repair homes and make improvements to homes to increase security against further break-ins.  They provide emergency financial assistance, transportation, hotel accommodations, and food provision. Volunteers are also available to help people clean up their homes after suicides.  With every client, the ministry offers spiritual and emotional comfort, encouragement and guidance.
