The main component of the College Transition Initiative is a seminar for college bound high school students and their parents. College Transition Project - Center for Youth and Family Ministry
Based out of Fuller Seminary, CYFM is trying "to better understand the characteristics of youth groups that are associated with a healthy transition to college life and help youth workers develop those qualities in their youth groups."
Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU)
Based in Washington, DC, CCCU is an international higher education association of intentionally Christian colleges and universities. Founded in 1976 with 38 members, the Council has grown to 105 members in North America and 67 affiliate institutions in 24 countries.

After laying out a foundation of lordship, integrity and servanthood, they move into relationships (spiritual, dating, etc.), realities (calendars, money...) and academics (the christian mind, choosing a major...)
RESEARCH
Advising the college student of the mid-80s. This study pertains to the attitudes and values of college students in the 1980s. It also examines the way they learn, given their cultural portrait. Student outcomes assessment: The senior survey. This research project conducted by Scot A. Lingrell, a Ph.D. student at Bowling Green State University, measures the effectiveness of higher education in the final year of undergraduate education. The American Freshman national norms for fall. This is a yearly publication published through an organization at University of California, Los Angeles. This study compiles data annually from 500,000 entering freshmen, beginning in 1966. Alexander and Helen Astin gather and disperse the information.
The 25 year trends. Published in May of 1991, this report highlights academic skills and preparation, demographic trends, high school activities and experiences, education and career plans, and student attitudes and values. For additional information, contact: University of California, Los Angeles
