Summary:

The Celebrate Recovery Participant's Guide Set is designed to complement a Celebrate Recovery ministry in a church.  The eight recovery principles used in Celebrate Recovery are based upon the Beatitudes.  Each book contains sections on the 12 Steps (AA) and their biblical comparisons, as well as the prayer guide.  The booklets provide ample space to record personal answers to questions scattered throughout each lesson.  The Set includes four guide books:

  •   Stepping Out of Denial Into God's Grace: deals with denial, powerlessness, hope, sanity, turning your life over to God and action
  • Taking an Honest and Spiritual Inventory: covers the importance of having a sponsor (accountability partner), and conducting a personal inventory
  • Getting Right with God, Yourself and Others: addresses issues such as confession, admission, making amends, and forgiveness and grace
  • Growing in Christ While Helping Others: provides guidance on dealing with crossroads, taking a daily inventory, how to handle relapse, and balancing self-care and service to others
