A Christian rites of passage program for African American boys, Simba takes a relationship based approach and emphasizes role modeling in tandem with mentoring in addressing critical issues for youth ministry in urban areas. The manual contains curriculum for weekly sessions and material and instruction for training and recruiting men to begin a Simba group in your community. The Simba curriculum leads boys on a discovery of what it means to be African American men spiritually, culturally and physically.
