Encyclopedia of Urban Ministry
Take the Wiki Tour
A wiki (like Wikipedia) is a collaborative writing project - it's like a manual, or a resource guide, which anyone can edit. Everyone who uses a wiki has the potential to share what they know on a particular topic, either by adding new pages to the wiki (in the appropriate section - see the section descriptions below), or by editing and expanding a page that's already there. On Wikipedia, for example, people contribute their knowledge about the subjects that would be in an encyclopedia, while on wikiHow, people give instructions on how to do various things.
We at UrbanMinistry.org hope that this wiki, the Encyclopedia of Urban Ministry, will be a constantly-expanding resource for people involved in urban ministry, whether that be Christian community development, technology instruction, youth ministry, or addiction & recovery ministry. Feel free to add curricula and lesson plans you have developed, descriptions of your organization's best practices, and links to other online resources you have found beneficial.
