Description

The Salvation ArmyÂ’s Corps Community Center in Red Bank needs volunteers for their EXPLORERS Club Monday through Friday from 3.30pm - 5.30pm. The EXPLORERS Club will enable children to be enriched, excited, have a chance to play and exercise and have the opportunity to engage in different activities learning unique and exciting skills. The Club will reach out to all children teaching them about respect and at the same time offering a safe environment. The different activities will consist of a reading program called Mission:Literacy, Salvation Army Troops, drama, art, and a variety of other activities.

Requirements:
Volunteers who enjoy working with children are needed to supervise and help with the programs. Volunteers are also needed who have experience in arts and crafts, photography, singing, painting, guitar, karate, or any other special skills they are willing to teach. The Salvation Army would like to offer this variety of special and unique programs to the children in the community.

Volunteers should commit to volunteering at least once every two weeks for the full two hours of the program. Volunteers should be 16 years old or over.
