Description
HOCW?Hope of Children and Women Victims of Violence?is a Christian non-profit, non-government, humanitarian organization. HOCW was founded in 2008 by international volunteers who have a passion for the plight of women and children whose lives have been affected by violence, poverty and other hardships. The HOCW community is composed of an ever-changing population of Ugandans and refugees from Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Sudan, Tanzania and other African countries. Refugees represent roughly 90% of our enrollment. We see victims of rape, war, extreme poverty, natural disasters
Requirements:
A volunteer has to be able to deal with emotions as most of the people she is to meet here are those who were sexually abused infront oft heir children and this made them to feel like they are no longer of use of the society, others carries babies from that angle.
A volunteer is required to pay a small fee which to cater for accommodation and food
We have a volunteer house which is self contained western standard a volunteer has to pay 150$ a week if she or he is to stay more than three weeks she pays 100 $a week and if she or he is to pay more than two months she will have to pay 75$ a week.

Everything is provided only drinking water and Toilet Paper
