Web Content Management Intern (volunteer)

Description
Primary Objective of Position:
Provide assistance to TreeHouse staff in the creation, input, and maintenance of content in TreeHouseÂ’s new web site
Major Areas of Accountability:
Work with appropriate TreeHouse staff to develop, articulate, create, input and maintain web content, including copyediting
Work with TreeHouse staff to identify, index, and make available knowledge resources; maintain up-to-date records and information on all web documentation and images
Continually utilize, develop and maintain TreeHouse keywords for use in indexing content and search engine optimization
Ensure the web site content and navigation is as accessible and user-friendly as possible
Serve as a web-publishing platform resource to staff
Provide ongoing technical support to users, supporters or members using the TreeHouse web site.
Requirements
Demonstrated proficiency in HTML coding or with other content management or web publishing platforms
Knowledge of Raiser's Edge Fundraising software highly beneficial
Experience in Kintera and/or Convio software highly beneficial
Knowledge of Blackbaud NetCommunity software beneficial
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to organize multiple tasks and projects assuring completion of essential details within specified timeframes and paying close attention to details
Availability and work hours open to negotiation.
