Web Intern (volunteer)

Description
Primary Objective of Position:
Provide assistance to TreeHouse staff in the creation, input, and maintenance of content and site administration for TreeHouseÂ’s new web site
Major Areas of Accountability:
- Develop and coordinate quarterly internal enhancement process including project plan, communication, assessment/response to Blackbaud NetCommunity-driven revisions
- Be a web advocate by working with TreeHouse staff to develop, articulate, create, input and maintain up-to-date web content, including copyediting of discussion forums/blog
- Prepare, assess and maintain routine web performance reports
- Work with TreeHouse staff to identify, index, and make available knowledge resources; maintain up-to-date records and information on all web documentation and images
- Continually utilize, develop and maintain TreeHouse keywords for use in indexing content and search engine optimization
- Ensure the web site content and navigation is as accessible and user-friendly as possible
- Serve as a web-publishing platform resource to staff
- Provide ongoing technical support to users, supporters or members using the TreeHouse web site
Requirements
- Knowledge of Raiser's Edge Fundraising software highly beneficial
- Experience in Kintera and/or Convio software highly beneficial
- Knowledge of Blackbaud NetCommunity software beneficial
- Experience with Google Analytics and reporting tools highly beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize multiple tasks and projects assuring completion of essential details within specified timeframes and paying close attention to details
