Volunteering at Primary and Secondary Schools

Description

The volunteer will be teaching in a government primary and secondary schools in different rural areas.

His/her duties will include teaching either English, Math, Science, Biology physics and Computers these will be and assisting in administrative work, any volunteer with skills in teaching physical education is also welcomed.

We encourage groups of volunteers to apply.
Interested applicants will be given a detailed information sheet regarding the project and requirements.

It is a 1-3 months period program i.e, Jan-March,May - July and Sept - Nov

Work is 8 hours a day, weekends are free. Accommodation and meals is at a selected host family, transport from Nairobi to the location is by public transport, Airport pick up is provided.

Orientation will be done at Pamoja Office to explain to the volunteer to inform about Kenya, work, location, what is expected of you or what you expect from the program and all payments including commitment and program fee will be paid in the office during orientation.

Kiswahili will taught as part of Intercultural exchange
