Description

Assist an older adult with monthly financial or budgeting tasks: opening and sorting mail, creating a budget, balancing check ledger and provide encouragement. Includes friendly visiting. Volunteers are paired with one older adult to meet with a maximum of 2 hours each month on a day and time agreed upon by the volunteer and the older adult.

Requirements:
Minimum age requirement is for this role is 25 years. Volunteers in this program are asked to commit to spending 2 hours a month with their older adult friend. Reliable transportation to agreed upon meeting location is critical. When possible, volunteers are matched with people in their geographic area.
