Description

Boston Housing Authority is looking for volunteers who can serve as an interpreter during interviews,
customer service issues, filling out housing documents, among others. Volunteer interpreters will receive training and serve on an on-call basis (about 10 hours a month).

Requirements:
Ideal candidates are individuals who are energetic, patient and proficient in an advanced level in English and any, but not limited to, the following languages: Vietnamese, Cape Verdean, Chinese, Arabic, Haitian Creole, Khmer, Russian, French, Amharic, Somali, Spanish.
