Volunteer as a Home Based Care Worker for HIV Patients in Kenya

Description
Participate in home based care {HBC} outreach program and help in caring for HIV patients in their houses/homes. Our outreach centers serve as monitoring units from where our medical volunteers, social workers and nursing staff are dispatched to various homes to do counsel and evaluate the families who are taking care of the patients.
Our main programs are located in KenyaÂ’s informal settlement 'Kibera and Mathare slums' and other rural areas. HBC's main activities include; basic nursing care for terminally ill HIV patients, counseling and nursing procedures, teaching primary care givers, pain management, HIV/AIDS education and support to affected family.
