Volunteer Abroad at Fuenteverde Community - Costa Rica

Description
Fuente Verde's farm and community infrastructure is well underway, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, terraced garden beds, a spring water catchment system, 8 aquaculture ponds, and a 2,800-square foot volunteer house/community center.
Volunteers can help with the following tasks:
Making compost
Harvesting
Mulching
Weeding
Seeding
Building work
Communal cooking
Art/mural making
Permaculture Design Courses and workshops are offered regularly throughout the year
Hands-on internship and training opportunities can be arranged.
Volunteers will be expected to work from Monday to Friday in the mornings; however, schedules may vary according to number of volunteers and time of year.
You are required to work up to 20 hrs. a week on the farm.
The schedule of work can be flexible according to your preferences.
Requirements:
Everyone with a desire to learn how to live a more sustainable life and share with a permaculture community is welcome.
People who cannot adapt to rural conditions or do not like to live in a community may have a difficult time on this placement.
