Virtual Fundraisers

Description

The Foundation is currently seeking volunteer Fundraisers who thrive in the start-up environment. You must be a responsible professional who is passionate about poverty Alleviation and humanitarian services, an innovative thinker who can deliver results, on time and with no supervision. Multicultural experience strongly preferred.
Number of Fundraisers required: 3

Responsibilities include:
• Formulate appropriate funding strategy for the Foundation
• Research and compile a list of appropriate funding solutions (government, foundations, individuals, etc.)
• Grant researching and grant writing: preparing and managing information for the application of foundation grants
• Liaise with funding organizations
• Cultivating and soliciting donors and sponsors, both private individuals and companies
• Adapting foundation information into the native language of the country where you plan to fundraise

Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Experience with fundraising, grant writing, and/or event planning
• Experience fundraising for non-profit startups a plus
• Self-starters and innovative thinkers who are comfortable working with a team as well as independently

Language requirements:
• English fluency a must
• Fluency in the language of the country in which you plan to fundraise
• Additional languages strongly preferred
This job calls for an on-going commitment of 10 hours per a week 12 weeks. As virtual task, you can work from home at your own schedule, with weekly progress report. Communication can be done through any of the following method email, skype, chat or on phone. Reports should be by email.
