Description

We are non profit organization based in Costa Rica looking for volunteers that would like to be part of various projects within Costa Rica such as Music & Art Project, Daycare and Nutritional Center, to help in National Parks as for example in Barra Honda National Park, or to help to protect animals by joing to Wildlife Rescue Center or to be part of the Ostional Sea Turtle Project. Please contact us for more information about specific projects.

Examples of projects:
As a volunteer at Barra Honda National Park you'll assist with our Butterfly and Bat Research, environmental education and installing motion sensor cameras in the park to help with wildlife research.

Volunteers in Hojancha will work primarily on the Art & Music Project which the Tropical Adventures Foundation is running out of the town library. Additional work includes leading workshops such as computer skills, helping in the local daycare center, as well as work with local ongoing projects in the community such as recycling and gardening.

Volunteers in our Daycare Center will assist the teacher and the cook with duties directly relating to the children, play with the children, help children learn to brush their teeth and prepare food packages for donation, and teach basic English.

Volunteers at our Wildlife Rescue Center will help with the daily tasks of feeding and caring for our animals, along with basic cleaning and maintenance.

As a volunteer at the Ostional Sea Turtle Project in Costa Rica, you will be working to protect sea turtles on the beach in the National Wildlife Reserve of Ostional in the Province of Guanacaste.
