Urban Homeworks is accepting applications for summer and fall openings in its Urban Neighbor Community! Apply today!



Do you have a heart for the city? Has God burdened you for the least of these? Are you exploring your call to ministry and missions?



The Urban Neighbor Community is a ministry-of-presence experience for followers of Jesus who want to put the COMPASSION of Christ into ACTION in the inner city neighborhoods of Minneapolis & St. Paul. This intentional urban living opportunity is not a mission experience, it is real life. Loving God and loving neighbor are part of your everyday life.

Requirements:
As an Urban Neighbor, you will:

SERVE. 2-3 hours weekly with a local ministry or organization.

LEARN. It is about life and ministry, justice & mercy in the urban context.

LIVE. Be real & go deeper with housemates, following Jesus together in the city.



Urban Neighbors sign a one-year covenant and lease and live in a duplex or an apartment with 2 - 5 other people in a mixed-income housing model operated by Urban Homeworks. Rents vary from $370 - $400/mo, plus utilities (you would know the exact amount of your rent before a lease is signed).
