Description

The Volunteer will be working in community based organization. This is an on-going activity.
The volunteer duties will include the following: offering management and accounting skills i.e using Computers to teach the staff on how to use basic accounting skills, fundraising for the organization, liaising with fair trade organization to market their products, teaching adult education, updating their website with new information and assisting in the daily routine work.

Volunteers will be using English language for communication, working 8 hours Mon-Fri and Morning and Afternoon Hours, weekends are free

Accommodation and meals is at a selected host family, transport from Nairobi to the location by public transport, Airport pick up is provided.

Orientation will be done at Pamoja Office to explain to the volunteer to inform about Kenya, work, location, what is expected of you or what you expect from the program and all payments including commitment and program fee will be paid in the office during orientation.

We encourage groups of volunteers to apply.
Location of the Program is in Nairobi and rural

Minimum duration 1 month and maximum 6 months

Please we are looking for serious and motivated volunteers

Kiswahili will taught as part of intercultural exchange
