Tanzania Volunteering-Conservation-Administrative Assistant - ASPA
|
Description
Volunteers are needed to provide support to a small office. There are only two staff members who work at the office and there is no funding to hire additional employees. This office needs creative minds to raise funds and help spread the word about animal welfare and providing care for injured animals.
This is a very busy office, unfortunately, the staff are often busy meeting with potential donors and coordinating clinics and school visits. Volunteers can be a great help by assisting with making clinic schedules, creating hand-outs for students, construct brochures and donor/sponsorship letters as well as general office administration.
The work this organization does is very important to the local communities. Volunteers are needed to ensure that they can operate as efficiently as possible.
Volunteers are needed to provide clerical and administrative help as well as to assist with registration at dog and donkey clinics. With enough creativity, volunteers can help with the design and create newsletters and brochures for new and potential sponsors.
ASPA hosts presentations in schools to educate the importance of properly caring for domestic animals. Volunteers can help with creating educational materials on animal welfare for children and adults as well as creating teaching workshops for schools on animal welfare.
