Description

Support Group Co-Facilitators are leaders who help to provided education and a supportive environment for trauma survivors in various types of support groups offered. Requirements include a 10 hour volunteer training class online or in person; and a willingness to commit to 1.5 hours for up to 6 weeks on specific support groups or at least 2 months or longer for ongoing support groups. Must be able to keep confidentiality, be good with groups and be compassionate, empathetic, have active listening skills, and be able to understand the needs of a small group of trauma survivors.
