Description

Volunteers are needed to help shovel walkways for local low-income senior citizens who live at home this winter.

Ice and show can be very dangerous, especially for Bloomfield's aging community members, who need a clear path to exit their homes in case of an emergency.

NTNN's goal is to assign 2 volunteers to each home.

Volunteers will be required to meet the client in advance and call them during snow storms to set up a time to shovel snow.

Requirements:
Each volunteer must fill out a vounteer application and provide three references.

Kids under 16 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Parents must sign a "Consent & Release Form" for volunteers under the age of 18.
