Will you open your heart and your home to an exchange student?

Terra Lingua USA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting cultural education and global understanding by providing family homestay immersion experiences for students from around the world.

Through our many international partners we've helped many young people discover a new appreciation for our global community while enhancing their language skills.

Your student will speak fluent English, have spending money and will be covered by medical insurance. They will join your family in activities and daily routines while attending the local high school. Their purpose is to master their English skills while studying and learning about the American way of life.

Any family can be a host family! Families with or without children, single or domestic partner households, and empty-nesters are welcome to apply. The process is easy. A simple application, references and criminal background check and you're ready to experience this rewarding opportunity. All we ask is that you treat your student as a member of your family. It's as simple as that!

Are open-minded and welcoming
Possess an interest in learning about other cultures and ideas
Include the student in their family life and daily routines
Have a spare bed
Are of many ages and backgrounds, with or without teenagers
