Description

SERVE Nazareth is a volunteer ministry based in Nazareth,
Israel. We connect Christian volunteers with local
ministries in Jesus home town.
The vision of SERVE Nazareth is to glorify God by bringing people from around the world together in service, to encourage the body of Christ in Nazareth and to equip people for future ministry.
You will become part of existing local ministry teams, within the Arab and Messianic communities. You will also give of your skills in community projects and have educational courses for your own development.
All of this in the town where Jesus lived and as part of a community which is passionate about seeking God.

Requirements

Applicants must be over 18 years of age, and must feel a genuine call to serve Christ and minister abroad.

Applicants are required to have:
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour
An attitude characterized by love, self sacrifice, integrity, humility and encouragement.

Applications are welcome year round. Applications need to be sent at least 4 months before your intended arrival date.

This cost includes:


The costs include our preparation course, preparation week, educational courses, accommodation, meals, transport. Interns have to cover their flights, insurance, personal expenses and spending money. The internship program has 3 intake dates during summer, fall and spring. The cost of this program for college age people is $2900.
SERVE Associates can choose their dates and the length of time they wish to serve, from 1 to 6 months. The cost for associates (above college age) is $850 per month.
There is also the opportunity for Group SERVE, which can facilitate short term service oriented trips for 4 - 20 people.
