Description

The Boston Rescue Mission sets up a table at the Boston Common every Saturday Morning to hand out sandwiches and soup as well as spend some time talking to and establishing relationships with the homeless population in downtown Boston. Volunteers will need to arrive at the Mission by 7:30am to assist in the final preparations of making sandwiches, wrapping pastries, and getting all the necessary materials loaded in the van. We then spend an hour and a half at the common distributing the food and talking to people. The shift concludes once we have arrived back at the Mission and unloaded the van
