Description

UP Academy's Saturday Math Club. Provides students that are significantly behind their peers in mathematics with remedial tutoring in a one-on-one or small group setting.

Saturdays from 9:00-11:30am. Seeking volunteers to tutor in first session, starting Saturday, Sept 17 through October 29, 2011.

Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree. Recent college graduates, working adults, and retirees, preferred.
• Committed and mission-aligned -- a passionate belief that all students can learn.
• Openness to new ideas and the belief that extracurricular and enrichment courses benefits student learning.
• The ability to be creative and remain calm and focused when faced with unexpected challenges.
• An aura of enthusiasm and joy.
