Description

Responsibilities (At least one four-hour shift Tuesday – Saturday from 9 – 5):

• To oversee calls regarding donations; except when passing major donors on to the ReStore Manager.
• To schedule donation pickups in a manner that efficiently uses our resources.
• To enforce parameters for donated goods; working with staff to identify and continually update these parameters based upon the needs of the store.
• To periodically update a “Donation Criteria” guide.
• To provide appropriate service to customers in both the scheduling and receiving of donations.
• To work with the ReStore Manager on developing relationships with top-tier donors as well as in finding new sources of donated materials.
• To work together with the staff to run the store in a manner that is safe, courteous, and profitable.

• To learn about Habitat for Humanity and the ReStore, and be able to communicate our mission and purpose to volunteers and customers.
• To be able to work in a team environment.
• To be willing to work within the guidelines of Habitat for Humanity.
• To help create an atmosphere within the Restore that encourages and fosters an open sharing of ideas, concerns, and hopes.
