Description
 Coolamatong is a Christian campsite which is owned and operated by Scripture Union Victoria. It is situated on the Gippsland Lakes near Bairnsdale, Victoria about 3 hours east of Melbourne, Australia.
Each year Camp Coolamatong seeks to appoint young people committed and passionate about sharing the reality of their Christian faith with children within the fun, vibrant atmosphere of residential adventure camping. Our position intakes occur in both January and July of each year, generally lasting 12 months.
Aside from running great camps and demonstrating the hope of our faith to campers, part of our mission is to train young Christian leaders to grow in spiritual maturity and be equipped with industry recognised skills to lead children in all aspects of school camps and through this to demonstrate, share and shine the love of Jesus on young lives. Camp Coolamatong?s Internships empower young adults to grasp, utilise and enlarge their God given gifts, talents and interests as they are immersed in Christian ministry.
Requirements:
 The internships at Coolamatong are perfect for young adults (18+) who have:
-Â Sensed the calling of God on their live to serve in the mission field
-Â Finished Yr 12 and want a Gap Year before continuing with T.A.F.E or Uni
- Have completed some tertiary study in a children?s or youth field but want to combine practical experience with a Gap Year before commencing work.
-        Have been working or studying in a field but wish to transition into a children?s or youth field and need a starting point
