Description

Orphanages and children homes in Kenya mostly care for children who are from different backgrounds. These (backgrounds) range from broken homes, post-election violence, have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS, have been abused emotionally or physically, have been abandoned, or whose parents are unable to provide for them long-term. These children need specialized and personal care due to their misfortune. As we all know they are our future and if we give them tender care, love and understanding they will never have regrets and with their humble hearts they will grow to be strong, enthusiastic, hardworking and moral citizens. Though they have a long journey before they live their dreams, they are in dire need of mature, responsible and someone with a humane heart. Is that you?
Yes they need a shoulder to lean on, someone to inspire them, instill hope and love in a practical way. They need someone they can emulate in future who they will admire either as a fatherly, motherly, sisterly or a brotherly figure.
Orphanages and children homes in Kenya can host from 20 -200 children at any one time, and there is always a demand and opportunities for volunteer assistance. As a volunteer you will give orphaned children the love, attention, life skills and education they need for a successful future.
You will work alongside the home's staff to help with teaching, cooking, laundry, childcare and many more for there is a variety of activities that you will find available and that suits your pursuit. Volunteers are encouraged to initiate new experiences for the children by organizing fun and educational activities such as music, dance, games, sports, day trips and any other favorable activities.

Your presence is an enormous blessing and an honor to our children and to the mother Kenya as a whole. This type of volunteering is suitable for people from all walks of life as long as you have a big heart and love children. That’s all what it takes you to make a difference in a young heart.

“it is through enriching others that you become rich yourself"
