Description
Crisis Intervention of Houston seeks dedicated, reliable volunteers to help execute office responsibilities. Crisis Intervention of Houston receives over 200 calls per day and 80,000 calls per year. We are Houston?s only 24/7 all-crisis Hotline. Our callers have a variety of crises including suicidal ideation, drug and alcohol abuse, abusive living situations, economic problems, and relationship issues. Your help in the office ensures that our Hotline is always fully operational!
Location: Near 59 and Kirby
Key Responsibilities:
? Filing Documents
? Updating Program Databases
? Data Entry
? Help prepare bulk mailings
? Occasional Phone Calls on Behalf of the Agency
? Occasional Decoration Projects
? Other duties as assigned.
Reports to: Administrative Staff, Depending on the Project
Length of Appointment: Appointments are on a per project basis and time commitment is negotiable based on the need.
Requirements:
Qualifications: Basic knowledge of computer and data entry. Pleasant manner, patience, organized, dependable.
Support: Training for this position will be provided. In addition, Administrative Staff will be available for questions and assistance.
