Description

San Jose Hospital welcomes certified nurses as volunteers to help in many tasks. Nurses will be useful in various departments of the San Jose Hospital. According to their qualifications, nurses may choose in which department they wish to work, ranging from pediatrics to the emergency room. All departments in the hospital operate relatively similarily to hospitals in North America. Nurses will tend to patients, take vital signs and assist doctors with various tasks. Additionally, volunteer nurses may also have the opportunity to observe in the operating room and assist if qualified and if posessing an intermediate to advanced level of Spanish.
Medical volunteers should expect to fulfill tasks very similar to their jobs back home but will learn to perform tasks with very limited access to resources
