Description

Hurricane Katrina will be remembered as one of the worst natural disasters in the history of the United States. She left a path of destruction 200 miles wide that ran deep into the heart of our nation. Hundreds of lives were lost, millions displaced, and damages ran well into the billions. Many lost everything.

Over two thousand Forward Edge volunteers have worked relentlessly in this area since 2005, repairing hundreds of homes, over 25 churches, and building relationships with these hurting people. The need is still great; many thousands are still uprooted, waiting to return to their destroyed homes and lives. You will reach out to those still in need by offering hope as you help them rebuild their homes and lives!
