Music Volunteer Teachers

Description

The volunteer his/her duties will include:
• Teaching musical instruments - piano, guitar,drums, saxophone, flute, violin e.t.c.
• Acting/Choreography/Drama/Theatre
• Salsa, Capoera and Tap Dancing
• Vocals
• Theory of Music

English is the language of communication

This program will be located in urban area.
Working hours 5 hours in the morning 2 hours in the afternoon.

The program runs from Jan - Dec

Work is 8 hours a day, weekends are free. Accommodation and meals is at a selected host family, transport within Nairobi by public transport, Airport pick up is provided.

Orientation will be done at Pamoja Office to explain to the volunteer to inform about Kenya, work, location, what is expected of you or what you expect from the program and all payments including commitment and program fee will be paid in the offices during orientation.

Kiswahili will be taught as part of intercultural exchange

We encourage groups of volunteers to apply.

Interested applicants will be given a detailed information sheet regarding the project and requirements.

We require volunteer(s) to teach music to young people.
