Micro Finance and Resource Mobilization Volunteer Opportunity

Description

The volunteer will assist in setting up and development of micro finance program for Pamoja, networking and sourcing for partners who will invest in the micro finance program, fund raising, marketing handicraft products, liaising with fair trade organizations accounting and management of the funds.

The maximum duration for this program is 6 months.

Work is 8 hours a day, weekends are free. Accommodation and meals is at a selected host family, transport from Nairobi to the location by public transport, Airport pick up is provided.

Orientation will be done at Pamoja Office to explain to the volunteer to inform about Kenya, work, location, what is expected of you or what you expect from the program and all payments including commitment and program fee will be paid in the offices during orientation.

In addition the volunteer will be made a key partner for the long sustainability and continuation of the program.

The volunteer will be taught Kiswahili as part of cultural integration.

Requirements:
The desired volunteer should have accounting, finance and marketing qualifications
