Description

NetWorks is a charity working in Romania with young people and families living in extreme poverty.

Increasingly we are involved in helping people to help themselves. We are now looking to recruit someone to manage and develop this area. It would ideally be someone with a desire and interest to help develop micro-enterprise programs, very much at the "grassroots" levels.

The role would include building relationships with the families involved, getting to know the relevant area of activity (which might include working alongside families for a period of time) helping to develop a business network to support the families involved and eventually to provide employment for surrounding families. The applicant would have responsibility for developing markets, publicity, marketing and distribution, both nationally and internationally.

Ideally, the applicant should be someone with training or experience in this kind of work, willing to join our long-term team, should be self-funded and would be expected to participate in the missions training program.

Requirements

This position is self-funded, all applicants are expected to have their own support, should be prepared to commit for at least one year, and will be expected to join relevant parts of the missions training program. Please see our webpage at www.networks.org.ro for further details.
