Be a Mentor to a Child!

Description
In order to help KidWorks' 6th - 12th grade students make their way through junior high and high school, YouthWorks Mentors provide support, guidance, and friendship during the different stages of the student's teenage years.
Requirements:
Time commitment from the mentor is crucial to a child's development so we require:
-1 year commitment
-2 visits per month
-a phone call, email or some from of communication during the weeks you do not see your mentee
The information below is also required before you can start volunteering with us:
* A passion for children to be successful.
* A willingness to learn and be flexible.
* Must be 18 years or older.
* Must complete KidWorks online volunteer application at: https://secure.kidworksonline.org/volapp/volapp.php
* Must complete orientation/training at KidWorks.
* Must complete KidWorks volunteer interview.
* Must complete Live Scan Background Check.
