Description

The Jobs Advisor attends a two-hour class one night per week and acts as a friend to one or more unemployed persons to help them identify marketable skills, favorite interests, select a target field of employment, set a job objective, prepare a resume, do practice interviews, network, obtain informational interviews, gain employment, and succeed.

The Jobs Advisor also continues to encourage the participant following his employment and graduation from the 13-week course.

Requirements

The Jobs Advisor is usually someone who has been successfully employed as a tradesman, manager, executive or entrepreneur.
