Hospitality Team Member

Description

Make guests feel welcome and cared for. Assist overnight guests with daily dormitory needs and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
-Is a consistent witness for Christ. Prays for KARM leadership, team members, volunteers, and the effectiveness of the Hospitality Team.
-Meets individually with the Team Leader, as needed.
-Collaborates with the Hospitality Team to keep current with the needs of guests and staff.
-Be personable and willing to engage others in conversation and listen with and to guests, clients, and staff.
-Shares the gospel, prays with and for our guests, and introduces people to recovery programs, if appropriate.

Evening Shift Only:
-Hand out towels, linens, and hygiene products to guests checking in for the evening.
-Assist men and women in making their beds.

Time Commitment: Approximately 2-5 hours, once per week, during the hours of 5-8am or 4:30-8:30pm. 6 month-1 year commitment preferred. Shifts available daily.

Requirements:
-One-on-one and group interpersonal skills
-A love for people!
-Demonstrated ability to diffuse and calm conflict situations
-Great boundaries
