Homeless Prevention Receptionist

Description
The first Tuesday of every month the mission gives out its homeless prevention funds. The receptionist will listen to callers, respond to phone messages, gain as much information as possible on the client's situation and relay that information to the housing coordinator.
Providing spiritual and emotional support to clients, even if financial support is not possible is an important part of this volunteer position.
Requirements
Applicants must be:
- Good listener
- Patient
- Organized
- Ability to explain the system of receiving assistance to clients.
- Ability to recall details
- Willing to offer spiritual support to strangers on the phone
