Description

Volunteers of America's Meals On Wheels Program works to alleviate hunger among seniors by providing hot, nourishing meals to those that are homebound and unable to prepare meals for themselves. The nutritious meals and daily contact by caring volunteers allows these seniors to stay safely in their homes. Routes are available Monday through Saturday, between 10:00am and 1:00pm, and usually last about one hour.

Requirements:
Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation and must be able to pass a background and motor vehicle check. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older or accompanied by an adult.
