'Going Deeper' Program Volunteer

Description
Serve hurting teens ages 11-18 on Thursday nights by serving at 'Going Deeper' as a volunteer. 'Going Deeper' is a weekly program at TreeHouse - similar to a youth group program - for at-risk & hurting youth, many of whom are not familiar with faith. Through training, observation and hands on experience you will be able to become a volunteer at Going Deeper. This position would involve being a part of the large group program, interacting with youth, leading a discussion group on occasion, and helping with program in a variety of ways. Going Deeper takes place on Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:30. Volunteers needed at each of the five TreeHouse locations.
Requirements:
Must love God and love youth
Have a heart to serve
Be teachable
Be compassionate and caring, yet lovingly firm when needed
Available on Thursday nights from 6:30-9:30 (includes rides after program)
Able to provide own transportation
Able to commit to serve for a minimum of 9 months to a year.
