Description
In a mere 45 seconds on Jan. 12, 2010, the world watched as the nation of Haiti was brought to its knees by a devastating 7.0-magnitude earthquake.
Having lost everything, and with nowhere to go but ever-growing "tent cities," the Haitian people who survived now begin to rebuild, and the Haitian church is responding, showing people the hope and encouragement that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
You have a chance to participate in relief and reconstruction efforts. As a volunteer, you will assist Haitian churches and locally-led ministries and organizations in providing relief to the people. With the powerful combination of the hope of Christ and humanitarian aid, you can be a part of the change Haiti needs.
Requirements:
We need assistance from volunteers to help with projects, cooking, churches repair projects or construction of new facilities, volunteer in our clinics and hospitals, working with disadvantaged children, orphans, cleaning, teaching basic English, administrative issues, etc.
