Fundraising Assistant

Description

We are looking for Fundraising Interns from around the world to help us raise funds for health projects in Africa. You could be anywhere in the world, at a school, college, university or at work, that does not matter because our interns use social media and organise fundraising events, sponsored challenges, etc to fundraise on our behalf. The internship will be done remotely as you do not need an office, but you must maintain contact with our head office in the UK. You will receive material and support with your fundraising. If you want to do this work as Internship, you will be working from our offices in UK if you are successful.
Duties include
- To recruit volunteers to assist with fundraising
- Organise fundraising events/activities/initiatives/sponsored events
- To research funding sources are best suited for our work
- To complete and submit funding applications through our head office
- To develop online campaigns through social media and/or our website
- To communicate regularly with the head office and abide by fundraising standards

Requirements:
- General education
- Demonstrate interest or experience in the charity fundraising.
- Proven entrepreneurial spirit and drive
- Impeccable social media skills
- Ability to recruit and manage volunteers to help with fundraising
- Proficiency in IT
