Description
Lowe's is donating a new playground for our toddlers at our North Minneapolis Childcare Center. This is really exciting since the toddlers don't have an outdoor place to play now. The space was in bad shape before the tornado but is even worse since. Volunteers are needed to work with volunteers from Lowe's to remove brush, build a retaining wall and other dirty outdoor work. Come for three hours or the entire day.
This is at our Children's First Early Learning Center, a full-day therapeutic childcare program for children 16 months until they start kindergarten. This nationally accredited program provides culturally responsive early childhood and preschool education for children living in the north Minneapolis community. Program goals include school readiness and parent participation in the educational goals of each child.
